Quite rare (and virtually only ages 5-15, possibly up to 25)
Migratory polyarthritis: one joint resolves in 1-3 days, another becomes inflamed- ASA / NSAIDs may attenuate all future joint involvement
Seek another Major Jones Criteria (besides arthritis):
- Heart Murmur
- Syndenham’s Chorea (abrupt movements, muscle weakness)
- Erythema Marginatum (faint; comes & goes in hours)
- Subcutaneous nodules (rare)
