Gonorrheal Conjunctivitis

* Rapid onset of progressive, overwhelming, purulent discharge
  • Painful if eroding the cornea (keratitis)
* Auto-innoculation from genital symptoms OR direct ejaculation in face
 
* Send to ER stat to preserve eye (if eye pain, call 911)
